Overview:
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating leads for the outside sales organization and building relationships with prospects crucial to future success. In addition, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for identifying opportunities for assigned outside sales team members, and documenting current and accurate information into SalesForce.
Responsibilities:
Establish yourself as an account representative
Uncover sales opportunities in your assigned territory
Utilize and identify lists of prospective customers
Maintain sales data including current account information and databases
Work with customers on an on-going basis to maintain relationships and determine upsell opportunities.
Develop territory calling plan in partnership with outside regional sales director in partnership with marketing.
Develop and refine messaging approaches and tactics to target specific accounts for future sales opportunities
Continuously work to move the sales pipeline forward
Schedule qualified calls and in-person meetings for the appropriate regional sales director
Establish customer and prospect initiative timelines, budgets and urgency and qualify immediate sales opportunities
Partner with marketing, sales, sales operations and the support organization to provide information that assists in closing deals
Manage tradeshow pre- and post-lists to drive traffic and follow-up on leads
Provide weekly and monthly turnover reports
Meet or exceed targeted calls per week requirement and aim to exceed qualified turnovers per month
Protect the confidentiality of sensitive and/or proprietary company information
Support and promote the Talyst values through positive interactions with both internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis
Attend to other initiatives and goals as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree preferred
3+ years? experience preferred or equivalent experience or
experience in a healthcare environment strongly preferred
Previous inside enterprise sales experience required
Self-motivated and determined
Aggressive follow-up and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to cultivate accounts to close
Ability to articulate and position Talyst solutions over the phone
and the ability to improvise and deliver both verbal and written communication unscripted
Tenacious drive to improve operational territory performance and
to keep abreast of industry trends
Prioritization, detail oriented and organizational skills
Proficient with MS Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and
Outlook, SalesForce
CRM experience required, SalesForce a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to prioritize, and work on many tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to work independently and inter-dependently
Experience leveraging shared resources
Experience working in a goal oriented, delivery focused, and
dynamic environment
Working Conditions:
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day.
Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
