Position Overview
This position is an integral part of the Sales Team by providing inside sales support and customer interface.
General Functions/Specific Responsibilities
Coordinate and implement Inside Sales lead generation initiatives which include, but are not limited to:
Manage & execute research activities as required to compile successful campaign target lists
Entry, distribution and management of target/lead information/records into sales contact database
Plan and implement campaign kick-off meetings
Independently monitor progress of campaigns ? track, analyze, interpret and report results
Act as a liaison with the Marketing team to manage the processing and distribution of leads generated through activities including Tradeshows, Advertising, Direct Mail, Seminars, Webinars, etc.
Proactively design campaigns and keep apprised of marketing activities for other lead generation campaign opportunities.
Initiate cold calls to potential customers and follow up with written correspondence.
Initiate follow-up calls to current customers after product installation to determine future needs, obtain product feedback, etc.
Accompany outside sales team members on sales appointments as needed.
Schedule and deliver product demonstrations, both on-line and on-site.
Provide product quotes based on specifications provided by the sales team.
Respond to inquiries from potential clients and other interested parties. Handle customer complaints.
Effectively manage distributor relationships and identify/provide solutions to issues.
Act as first line of customer care for current customers.
Entry, distribution and management of target/lead information/records into sales contact database.
Effective communication of leads reports and action items to Sales & Marketing teams.
Independently monitor progress of Marketing-generated leads ? track, analyze, interpret and report results.
Regularly monitor and manage the updating of information related to leads, contacts, accounts and account hierarchies in order to maintain clean and appropriately structured database records.
Pull and print copies of the executive pipeline reports on a weekly basis.
Organize the reports for a monthly and quarterly review of what is in the pipeline, in both paper and on-line formats, and provide meeting updates.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.
Proficient desktop software skills, including Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
Education and Experience: (Minimum required to perform job)
BA in Sales or Business Administration
2-3 years of Sales/Marketing experience
1-2 years of project management experience
