Inside Sales Representative Data Robotics
Overview
The North American Drobo Sales team has an exciting role for an Inside Sales Representative located out of the San Jose California offices, covering the East Region focused on growing Drobo?s business class VAR base. This position is critical to the long term success of Drobo?s strategy and the ability to land the strategy in the market with customers and partners. The position will focus VAR recruitment, achieving a clean onboarding process and then overachieving against quota assignment. This opportunity contributes to US sales goals and will evangelize Drobo, drive partner marketing programs and deliver strategic sales programs and incentives to achieve revenue objectives and be part of the core team driving the delivery of Drobo products.
Responsibilities
Meet or exceed territory revenue targets
Identify and manage the Drobo SMB ?go-to? partners, including or specifically focused on those already within the Drobo distribution network - including, onboarding, sales enablement, market development and technical sales training to generate leads for partner and sales closure
Manage and build relationships with individual partner teams and reps to help them more effectively sell Drobo products
Evangelize Drobo to drive awareness and execute marketing and sales programs across the partner set
Manage and review partner opportunity pipeline with sales leadership team
Resource and support partner driven sales efforts
Facilitate Drobo field engagement across sales roles to shorten sales cycles on key opportunities
Oversee partner sales management and participate in weekly or monthly partner pipeline reviews
Partner with appropriate Business Development Managers, Partner Marketing Managers and coordinate back with Drobo marketing to successfully execute against sales and marketing campaigns
Build awareness
Work with key Distributors to facilitate Breadth Partner recruitment and sales enablement for Drobo Business class products
1-to-many engagements that will include, but are not limited to, field and partner trainings and customer presentations
Requirments
Must be an energetic, ?startup? minded individual
Excellent natural level of drive matched only by a sense of teamwork and clarity of corporate vision
Have proven sales and partner account management experience with a track record of success
Ability to build Partner/Channel and Customer Relationships, driving Impact and Influence, deliver Strategic Sales Planning, deliver strong presentation and cross-group collaboration skills are essential
5-7 years of related experience in selling communications services solutions, Industry/reseller experience, technical aptitude, preferably, with storage experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills required
