The individual will be responsible for inside sales, supporting geographical and/or vertical territories within North America. KEMP?s sales focus is a channel centric sales model, however the Inside Sales Representative will interact with both direct end-user customers and reseller partners.
The inside sales representative will work as part of a sales team to develop the reseller partner channel with the specific goal of achieving sales growth targets for a give territory.
Day-to-day Responsibilities (please provide a list of the day-to-day tasks for the role):
Manage inbound sales activities within the assigned territories.
Maintain lead and customer data/records including updating all activities, contacts and correspondence within salesforce.com.
Working in conjunction with the Territory Account Manager, maintain an accurate, reliable and predictable opportunity pipeline/forecast.
Develop strong professional relationships with clients and reseller partners.
Provide sales support to Territory Account Managers and other team members while working towards an assigned/shared sales target/quota.
Perform administrative duties like scheduling sales appointments and organizing sales reports.
Perform proactive, outbound sales activities such as; post sales customer follow-up and promotional campaigns to both existing customers, prospects and leads.
Participate in weekly sales meetings
Proactively maintain product knowledge, outside of scheduled training
Desired Skills and Experience
Proven inside sales experience within the high-tech industry;
Computing/network product knowledge is a plus.
Proven record of quota obtainment.
Experience working with Channels such as; resellers, VARs, integrators, consultants, etc.
Excellent customer service, organizational, and negotiating skills.
Detail oriented with good written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Salesforce.com.
Ability to work both independently and a team player on complex tasks while meeting deadlines.
Confident, energetic and organized.
Less than 5% travel required.
