Inside Sales Representative Cardiocore Lab

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is based in Cardiocores South San Francisco office and is responsible for generating sales leads for the companys Sales Team. The ISR receives prospect company listings from Marketing and Sales Management and performs research to develop additional prospect targets. The ISR contacts prospects by phone and email and uses a professional approach to uncover potential cardiac safety projects and key contacts for follow-up by the outside sales team.


Responsibilities:

Compile and maintain lists of prospective customers in Sales Management System.
Communicate with prospect companies by phone and/or email to uncover potential projects and key contacts for Sales Team to pursue and qualify as opportunities.
Maintain record of activities and contact status with prospects in Sales Management System.
Search industry periodicals, journals and web postings to discover prospecting opportunities and to gather basic information about selected prospect companies.
Publish detailed weekly/monthly metrics reporting on Inside Sales effectiveness.
Manage Sales Team meeting schedules (dancecard) at industry
Assist Sales team members with on-line bidding systems
Manage Sales teams meeting schedules (dancecard) at industry conferences


Education:

Bachelors degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience


Experience:

Minimum 3 years experience in an inside sales role for technology-enabled services offering


Special Skills:

Must be a careful and active listener especially including the ability to manage telephone conversations that uncover information and sources helpful to the sales process.
Demonstrated ability to construct effective written customer communications.
Demonstrated ability with intermediate MS Office suite.
Prior experience with a CRM/Sales Management database system.
Detailed organization and data attitude and skills for managing hundreds of contacts/tasks/activities on a weekly basis.
