THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED IP Infusion (part of ACCESS) provides a comprehensive set of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching and routing solutions for communication equipment vendors. Our scalable, modular technology enables OEMs and ODMs to develop innovative access, enterprise, edge, and core networking equipment while reducing development expenses and increasing time in market.
IP Infusion is looking for an ambitious individual with the ability to identify and pre-qualify business. The ideal person is a self starter and hungry to prove their potential. We want a proactive individual who isn't afraid to dive in head first and acquire new business via the phone. In this position, you will be prospecting and qualifying new business via phone, webinars, local events and tradeshows.
You must be an upbeat, career motivated, self starter using your sales talent to prospect and develop business with potential customers, along with existing customers over the phone. You would be presenting our company to existing and potential customers by providing value propositions. Responsibilities include outbound cold calling, business development and following up with clients by phone and email. This role will work towards an Account Manager role or to manage more inside sales people.
Establish a consistent pipeline on a daily basis via lead generation. You will be responsible for 75-100 cold calls a day which means 60 of your time is on the phone at minimum.
Identify clients needs and cultivate effective sales strategies
Work with Account Managers to ensure consistent value is delivered to the client and identify key players within the organization.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a sales team
Desire to develop and grow in a fast-paced environment
Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
Proficient in MS Word & Excel
Knowledge of CRM software including:
Ability to mine information from a CRM system
Ability to manage contacts in CRM
Ability to manage email campaigns in CRM
Previous sales experience including cold calling and lead generation.
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Pleasant and confident phone voice
Able to multi-task and set priorities
Able to use critical thinking skills in a variety of situations
Technically familiar with computer / networking software products and solutions or related technologies.
Proficient in MS Word & Excel, also solid knowledge of CRM software
Willingness to adapt to varying/growing responsibilities
Inside sales / telesales experience
Computer / networking software sales experience
Previous experience selling to corporate, education, or government accounts
Skilled in PowerPoint presentations
Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce.com
