The Inside Sales Representative will interact with prospective clients over the phone with the primary goal of scheduling web-based or in-person meetings and driving new business activity for assigned Regional Sales Manager(s). The role requires a high level of motivation and determination as well as the ability to sell and persuade.
Ideal candidates will be based in the Chicago, NY Metro or Atlanta areas. This is a remote position working from a home office. Since you will be remotely based, you must be self-motivated and have a driving personality that helps you to understand when you may need to reach out to others as you need support. Ideally, you have worked in a remote/home office previously. Working in a small, start-up company means that you have a lot of freedom in determining your day, but you must be able to consistently align your work to the priorities of your team and the business.

Proactively identify new business opportunities through business development activities (Cold calls, emails, web forums, competitive research, contact management, and other demand generation)
Maintain a high level of outbound calls (approximately 60 per day).
Generate 3-5 meetings per week for the outside sales team
Communicate and demonstrate the value proposition for NetMotion products to decision makers
Research prospective client companies (LinkedIn, Discover.org, Jigsaw, Marketo.) to identify potential sales opportunities and potential buying influences
Research through multiple layers of an organization to uncover opportunities, build relationships and generate meetings
Provide professional compelling emails and voicemails that generate responses.
Build relationships with internal and external partners, including assigned Regional Sales Managers.
Consistently meet or exceed assigned productivity goals such as calls made, appointments set, etc.
Collaborate with the sales team regularly to ensure success
Utilize Salesforce.com to track all pertinent information related to the opportunity and effectively manage territory
Additional duties as assigned
Proven ability to prospect, reach key-decision makes and set meetings.
Ability to persuade and overcome objections; Understand how to effectively penetrate accounts
3+ years? experience outbound telephone sales experience, software/technology sales preferred.
Experience setting appointments with companies involved in complex selling model
Self-starter with experience in cold calling, lead management and relationship building
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Clearly understand and communicate the company's value proposition
Excellent listening skills, with the ability to identify a customer need.
Exceptional track record of quota and goal achievement
Experience with customer relationship management databases (Salesforce.com preferred)
