With the technology architecture in place, Verdasys has started up a new Inside Sales department to sell DG Risk Assessment and Managed Services offerings to an expanded market ? the Global 20,000, with a focus on companies between 500 and 4,000 employees.
These positions will be based at corporate headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will develop, solicit and close new accounts, generate sales quotations, and handle customer inquiries. The ISR will solicit business for Digital Guardian Managed Service for Information Protection (MSIP) with customers and prospects.
Engage in technical discussions, demonstrations and presentations with customers and prospects. Maintain working knowledge of products and services.
Prospect, qualify and generate sales for Digital Guardian Risk Assessment and Managed Services solutions.
Telemarket, make cold calls, set appointments and proactively contact customers and prospects through phone calls, email, mailings, fax and seminars to communicate company offerings and initiatives.
Collaborate with Inside Sales management, Managed Service management, Marketing, Customer Support, Product Management and Field Sales to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns, and offerings.
Ensure handoffs to Field Sales are successful and exceed customers? expectations.
Maintain frequent communication with Inside Sales management, the other members of the Inside Sales team, and other departments.
Respond to requests from customers and prospects for information and giving online presentations.
Document customers and prospects in the Company?s CRM system.
Bachelor?s degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
At least 2 years? experience in Inside Sales is required, preferably within Technology, Security or similar environment. Experience in security is a plus.
Versatile, flexible and willing to work with constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Ability to sense and relate observations to business opportunity.
Superior knowledge using the Internet, MS Office programs like Excel and MS operating systems like Windows 7. Experience with CRM tools is highly desirable.
