Freeborders is a leading provider of high quality / high value Information Technology services to mid and large-sized businesses. We provide global consulting, technology, and outsourcing services focused on Internet and Mobile Commerce, Business Intelligence, SAP, Application Modernization and Business Consulting across multiple industries.
We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative with knowledge of IT Services to generate leads, cold call on target prospects, follow-up on Marketing-generated leads, and generate qualified meetings for our New Business Development team. The success of the role would be measured in terms of achieving the targeted number of qualified meetings, working in a team environment to grow the front-end of the pipeline, and communicating the Freeborders? value proposition to new targeted accounts.
We are looking for candidates with a strong inside sales background in selling B2B IT solutions and services will also be considered. Ideal location is Chicago however, candidates with experience successfully working in a virtual setting will also be considered.
Primary Responsibilities:
Communicate Freeborders? capabilities and value proposition clearly, quickly and gracefully via phone and written communication.
Generate leads by calling assigned prospect lists from salesforce.com to identify, qualify and book meetings in specified accounts, geographies, and verticals.
Establish credibility with C-level, VPs and Directors of IT in order to understand priorities, articulate FB?s value proposition, generate interest and book meetings for New Business Development executives.
Provide accurate and timely input of scheduled and completed activities, opportunities, and meeting notes in salesforce.com.
Work collaboratively with New Business Development Reps to strategize, negotiate and close business, on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications:
5+ years in a quota-carrying/target-based inside sales role.
History of meeting or exceeding assigned targets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good knowledge of the IT industry (Mobile, BI and SAP a plus).
Salesforce.com, MS Outlook/Word/PPT knowledge a plus.
Good research skills with understanding of how to leverage social networking and research sites.
Goal oriented, self-starter, able to work independently, but within a team environment.
Positive attitude, assertive, confident, competitive and tenacious.
Selling outsourced services is a plus.
Compensation
Base salary plus bonus plan for deals moving from initial meeting stage through the pipeline to close. ISRs are paid a bonus at each of the following stages: initial meeting; proposal submitted and business closed.
