We are currently hiring an outstanding individual to join our team as an Inside Sales Specialist - K12, based out of our Eagan, MN office.
The Inside Sales Specialist -K12 is responsible for the renewals of the K-12 Web Education accounts. Contact each assigned account as the company point-of-contact for renewal and non-technical support. Manage the process to follow up regularly with each account throughout the year to gauge satisfaction, improve utilization of the software programs, trouble-shoot non-technical issues, cross-sell additional training as necessary, and initiate renewal for another year.
Provide monthly reports regarding plan and execution, as well as forecasting and results of existing account renewals.
This person must be a self-starter with excellent written and oral communication, organizational and administrative skills. In addition this person must have the ability to work with minimum direction and guidance on process and projects. This person must have a proven ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment, experience with customer interface and customer satisfaction, and general sales and marketing ability and experience.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
Contact each assigned account to serve as the company representative for non-technical issues, product utilization, and renewal of contracts.
Initiate and process usage reports for assigned renewal customers as appropriate, but no less than twice a year. It is recommended at 6 months into the contract and 90 days before end of contract.
Create, distribute, and track renewal proposals for assigned accounts.
Upsell current customers to new products and upgrades as available.
Work closely with K-12 Project Managers, and K-12 Software Sales Management.
Maintain and provide renewal reports as requested, including forecast and renewal status of each account.
Manage account information in Salesforce as requested by sales management
Strong knowledge of company products, company services and support, as well as operations, policies, and procedures.
Occasionally represent the K-12 Education group at national or regional conferences, tradeshows, and user's groups.
Education & Knowledge Required
4-year college degree in business or equivalent experience.
Experience / Skills / Abilities Required
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Salesforce, PowerPoint and the Internet.
Knowledge of sales processes, procedures, and practices.
Education background is preferred.
Knowledge of GoTo Meeting preferred.
Strong Customer Service experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Learn and retain new concepts and technology quickly.
Follow through on all assignments independently.
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Able to work amiably in a team environment.
