Inside Sales Specialist BlueStripe Software
BlueStripe Software, a Research Triangle Park based start-up recently recognized as an "Application Performance Management Innovator" by Gartner, is seeking talented sales professionals to help grow its expanding Sales team and business.
The principal responsibilities for this position are to generate revenue from lead sources and to develop new clients in a defined territory for our IT products. Selected candidates will be expected to achieve their revenue sales target.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
Meet and exceed pipeline and quota targets
Outbound Calling on specific targeted campaigns
Answer & qualify all inbound leads
Support Sales Execs for assigned territory
Assist marketing with profiling of accounts and data gathering
Follow up on large campaigns and event attendees as required
Evangelize product set externally to new prospects
Liaise with marketing department and execute on campaigns
Consistently improve personal product knowledge, industry knowledge and communications skills
Provide timely and accurate business forecasts to sales management, including ?salesforce.com? input
Minimum of 3 years of Business to Business telesales experience with proven results in a quota-oriented environment and/or previous related inside or outside sales experience coupled with:
Excellent cold calling, selling, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
Must be detail oriented, enthusiastic, and a quick learner
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in an IT, business or sales-related field preferred
Business travel of approximately 5% or less yearly is expected for this position
