Position Summary:
This position will provide pre-sales product and solutions support, qualify all incoming and outbound new business opportunities, and distribute qualified leads to appropriate Sales Executives. The role will serve as the initial primary point of contact for all potential/future ChannelAdvisor customers. This is an excellent growth opportunity offering a variety of career paths including sales, marketing or account management. This role will serve as the bridge from raw leads generated by the Marketing Team to qualified opportunities delivered to the Sales Team.
Essential Job Functions:
Greet all inbound customer prospect inquiries via phone and email and make outbound calls to pre-qualified prospects to identify initial business opportunities
Research target companies online in order to pre-qualify
Qualify all sales inquiries for potential lead promotion to Sales Team for further development
Ability to provide general product information related to all of ChannelAdvisor's products and offerings during initial phone consultations
Schedule demos and more in depth follow ups for the sales team based upon initial prospecting calls
Follow up on various marketing campaigns and events which typically generate a large number of leads
Required Skills
Job Specifications:
Minimum of 2 years of sales/inside sales experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience desired
Ambition to grow within organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Contact Management Tools and Microsoft Office
Good interpersonal skills; self starter
Knowledge of eCommerce and Online Marketing Industry a plus
