This position will be a part of our Take Out & Delivery Business Unit. An acquisition of ONOSYS in 2012, has given us a competitive advantage in offering online ordering technology. Our mission is to create the best platform for consumers to find the best places in their market to order food. This is an exciting team that is positioned for growth as we have the most products and offerings within LivignSocial to meet the demands of our merchants.
As part of our team you'll:
Utilize online and offline sources to aggressively research, develop, and cultivate leads for potential merchants on LivingSocial's website within the restaurant industry
Make a high volume of outbound sales calls to a variety of local business owners across multiple cities in the US and Canada
Use consultative sales skills to assess merchant goals, educate clients, propose a customized LivingSocial solution, and obtain commitment
Meet and exceed individual daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual quantitative and qualitative goals including expected performance vs. activity KPIs.
Communicate ongoing sales activity and account progress utilizing Salesforce.com
We're looking for the best and brightest:
Minimum one year of sales experience in a high volume environment with an emphasis on new business development (This is a hunting sales role, not an account management position)
Telephone or inside sales experience with full sales cycle responsibilities (prospecting, cold-calling, closing)
Experience selling in a solution, service, or media sales environment with top notch phone presentation skills within the restaurant industry preferred
Active experience utilizing CRM systems to document daily calls, meetings, and activity is required; Salesforce highly preferred.
Must be organized, self-motivated, driven, and have an appetite to succeed
Bachelor's degree preferred
