Inside Sales Telemarketer is responsible for identifying, prospecting, and qualifying leads for simple, complex and sale opportunities. The telemarketer will work in an assigned region of the country. Inside Sales Telemarketer qualifies leads and set appointments for both the Inside Sales Associate and the field Territory Sales Manager. This temp/intern/co-op position can be full-time or part-time (minimum of 20 hours per week) and has flexible hours. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 8 pm ET. Our work environment is business casual.
The Inside Sales Telemarketer will:
Develop new accounts by marketing company product lines and various services
Generate leads from select contact database through cold calling and other sales techniques
Gain comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and market and how/where ModSpace fits and can grow
Manage leads received from corporate lead sources through the customer management system and data mine leads from alternate sources as necessary
Qualify leads and transition to the appropriate Inside Sales Associate or field Territory Sales Manager
Identify, implement, record, and measure regular, continuous prospecting efforts throughout assigned territory to grow market share
Follow up with customers via telephone to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and resolve problems
Demonstrate a high level of communication and teamwork with operational and sales teammates
Perform campaign blitz as determined by managers
Perform other duties as assigned
A successful candidate:
Is currently working towards a bachelor?s degree, has a bachelor?s degree, or has a minimum of two years of customer service or sales experience
Is an enthusiastic, outgoing, detail oriented individual who has the ability to be flexible while working in a fast paced and changing environment
Has the ability to effectively work with multiple levels and across all functional areas within an organization
Has excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Has an exceptional ability to multi-task and manage personal productivity
Is PC proficient in a Windows environment with MS Office Suite
Has a minimum of one year of outbound calling sales experience - preferred
Has business to business sales experience - preferred
Has experience using SalesForce.com - preferred
