Installation Technician CallCopy
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED CallCopy, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Installation Technician. The primary responsibilities are centered on the installation of CallCopy products once a sale has been made through either direct or indirect channels. There is a high amount of customer interaction, requiring detailed communication and professionalism.
As an Install Technician you will be responsible for the physical install and system configuration for customers. The Install technician will also provide onsite training and basic troubleshooting for new customers before their maintenance is transferred to Support Services. Install technicians report directly to the Installation Manager.
Interacting with customers and managing the installation duties.
Providing customers and management frequent updates on the installation progress.
Tracking the details and description of work performed.
Providing customer with training or documentation as required.
Performing upgrades of the Callcopy Application and supporting applications.
Travel to customer?s location.
Create solutions for new integration types.
Tracking the details and description of work performed in the case management system.
Troubleshooting Networking, VoIP and TDM Telephony Systems, Windows Server OS, and server hardware issues.
Troubleshooting, maintenance, updating, and optimizations of databases.
Troubleshooting and resolving various web server related issue with IIS.
Troubleshooting client server application issues.
Scripting in C#.
Reading through and interpreting logs files.
Must be willing to travel, including internationally to assist in installations.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years Customer Service Experience including face-to-face, telephone, and electronic support.
2+ years Windows experience with Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7.
Basic knowledge of computer networks (equivalent to completion of intro level college coursework involving networking topics).
Assoociates Degree or higher in Computer Science.
5+ years Customer Service Experience specifically involving a technical support role.
5+ years Windows experience with Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 as well as Server 2003, 2008.
Knowledge of computer networks (equivalent to completion of college level coursework involving networking topics).
Knowledge of telephony systems via employment experience or certifications.
Familiarity with programming/scripting, especially with C#.
Familiarity with SQL databases.
Identify and document defects.
Design and create scripts for automated and regression testing.
