As Learning Designer at CorpU, you will showcase your skills in the creation of 21st century e/mobile/social learning on a platform that we designed to change the paradigm for corporate education. You'll be asked to push the limits of your design and development expertise to creatively translate the expertise of some of the world's most well-known academic faculty, esteemed authors, and business leaders into online learning experiences that will engage, enlighten and inspire.
Join us in our Philadelphia loft office in the heart of Center City, just blocks from 30th Street Station and surrounded by great learning institutions and urban activity.
What You'll Do:
--Design and develop online courses, including pre-work, lessons, individual activities, group discussions, and live events, in the CorpU Course Builder platform.
--Facilitate partner/client discovery and design meetings, to identify program objectives, audience, success measures, and a general program outline for new courses.
--Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members, including video editors and graphic artists, to create the multimedia components of courses.
--Evaluate course feedback and results to determine how to iteratively improve courses.
What You Bring:
--Demonstrated ability to design well-paced, highly engaging, multimodal learning experiences.
--Demonstrated understanding of adult learners and a commitment to designing collaborative, problem-based experiences that support motivation, engagement, and tangible outcomes.
--Exceptional project management skills; ability to manage and deliver multiple, high-quality programs on schedule.
--Exceptional ability to build and enhance cooperative working relationships; a client-service orientation.
--Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
--Strong organizational skills; extremely careful attention to detail and follow-through.
--Strong commitment to reflection and constant, fast learning.
--Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based, entrepreneurial environment; flexible, able to work autonomously, as well as take direction as needed.
--5+ years of experience in designing and delivering educational experiences for adult learners, and a keen interest in creating something new in this field. Experience in e-learning, social learning, and/or mobile learning environments is strongly preferred.
--Solid business experience in facilitating corporate customer discovery and design meetings.
--A 2-year or 4-year degree from an accredited university, college or technical school in the discipline of adult education, technology, creative design, art, web design, education or instructional design is preferred.
--Prior experience working alongside multimedia designers and video editors is desired.
