Instructional Design intern ON24
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED ON24 is seeking applications for an Instructional Design Intern to assist our team with the design, development and maintenance of training programs. Our training & development team develops training for our key client facing roles by working with business leaders and subject matter experts to determine learning objectives and desired business outcomes.

This is a short- to mid-term contract position and will require between 10 - 20 hours of work per week.
Work as part of a team to assist in the design and develop of training programs that support business goals, using an instructional design approach.
Assist in analyzing course content with the training director and subject matter experts to identify the best strategy
Assist in developing and completing documentation and deliverables for training solutions
Adapt and/or update existing instructional content and delivery methods to meet different learner needs
Design and incorporate interactive elements to enhance the learning process
Assist with project management (planning and execution) for a new hire training program and for an LMS transition
Assist with content development and management including content production to include writing, editing and maintenance
Perform administrative tasks in the learning management system
Conduct research and analysis to investigate learning trends and support development of new projects
Conduct needs and strategic learning assessments as needed to develop the basis for curriculum and delivery changes
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Interest in instructional design, particularly E-Learning
Excellent verbal, and written communication and organizational skills
Good interpersonal skills
Analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge of adult learning principles
Knowledge of current trends and best practices in learning
Strong technical aptitude and/or ability
Strong interest in technology and the software industry
Computer proficient (including MS Office spreadsheet and word processing applications)
Ability to work and contribute in a team environment with subject matter experts
Ability to work independently
Ability to meet deadlines while working independently and with a team
Keen attention to detail, aesthetics, and quality
Ability to assist in the planning, strategy, and delivery of instructional design projects
Professional and/or academic experience in instructional design and adult education is a plus
Experience with graphic, multimedia, or web design principles is a plus
Familiarity with multimedia tools such as Adobe Captivate, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Photoshop and Flash is a plus
GPA of 3.0 or higher (based on a 4.0 scale)
Bachelor?s degree, preferably in Education, Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, Business, Communications or related field.
Individuals pursuing a Master's degree in instructional systems design, educational technology or related field is highly preferred.
