The Instructional Designer and eLearning Specialist will learn the NetSpend customer service systems and work with cross-functional teams to convert content into training materials using sound instructional design, metacognition principles, and adult learning theory in order to meet the established performance goals. The Instructional Designer & Trainer must be able to deliver training as needed and work in a fast-paced environment with very tight deadlines. The Instructional Designer & Trainer will assist with process improvements.
Create new curriculum.
Evaluate, revamp, and/or edit existing curricula as needed.
Produce not only curriculum, but learner workbook and facilitator guide.
Create interactive activities, knowledge checks, and assessments based on Kirkpatrick?s levels of evaluation.
Create and/or edit graphics and /or photographs for training materials.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and convert different types of information/content into training materials.
Collaborate with SMEs during each phase of the process and gain final approval.
Manage multiple training projects with overlapping timelines.
Meet commitments and deadlines.
Deliver T3 sessions.
Participate in the continuous improvement of all training deliverables, processes and procedures.
Ability to work with ambiguity in a fast paced environment.
Degree or equivalent work experience required.
4+ years of experience with all facets of instructional design.
Excellent writing and editing; expertise in changing content written in passive voice to active voice.
Expert using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Ability to learn quickly; technologically savvy.
Experience creating soft skills training.
Experience creating technical, procedural, regulatory, and/or systems training.
Experience working with a LMS.
Experience in customer service training a plus.
eLearning experience a plus.
Proficient in Articulate Studio, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate, PhotoShop, and / or Illustrator
