The Instructional Designer will design, develop, manage, and maintain internal and external training. Course topics range from product knowledge to malware forensics to product sales. Audiences include FireEye employees, FireEye partners, and FireEye clients.
This position requires a team-focused self-starter who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision. Professionalism and the ability to work within a team are paramount.
Produce and maintain high-quality course content (ILT and e-learning) using department standards, procedures, and templates.
Perform needs assessments and task analyses.
Write objectives and course content in consultation with SMEs.
Perform quality assurance checks for ILT and e-learning courses.
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience. Work samples requested.
Superb oral, written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Project).
Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate complex technical concepts.
Ability to quickly understand and assimilate new technologies.
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.
5+ years experience creating courses (ILT and/or e-learning).
Comfortable using the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, etc.).
Experience with corporate learning management systems (SumTotal, Maestro, etc.).
