Instructional Designer Allegiance

Position Summary:
The instructional designer is responsible for designing all training curriculum (written and elearning) and delivering training courses via the internet and standard classroom training.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain help files
Create course materials (documentation and elearning tools)
Train small and large groups of customers and employees
Travel to customer sites as needed for training or consulting
Train new employees
Skills:
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Framemaker (Version 10 and above preferred)
Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Captivate, Flash and Robohelp
Experience using WebEx training center, or a similar online training tool.
Advanced Instructional Design Experience
Knowledge of the Kirkpatrick model of instructional design.
Experience using alternative assessment
Experience documenting and training complex software systems.
Engaging teaching style
Experience using survey software (Survey Monkey, Zoomerang or similar)
Ability to work independently
Education and Experience:
Bachelor?s Degree in Instructional Science, English or Communications
5+ years experience as an instructional designer in a technical environment
2+ years experience training technical topics via the web and face to face (not soft skills)
Experience working with complex software systems
Basic understanding of Statistics and Data Analysis
Familiarity with Net Promoter desirable
2+ years technical writing experience
