Dachis Group is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer/Writer. Put your ace ID skills to good use with us. Tackle everything from eLearning and workshops to educational games and social learning. We'll depend on your writing prowess for other types of communications as well-video scripts, presentations, web copy and more. You name it, you'll probably write it!
This is a full-time, mid-level position reporting to the Instructional Strategist.
Essential Duties:
-- Act as the Instructional Design lead on all learning projects. Conduct needs analyses, develop learning solutions and ensure instructional integrity throughout the entire project.
-- Recommend creative learning solutions based on content, budget, learner profile and client's needs.
-- Build effective working relationships with clients. Engage with clients and subject matter experts to understand the content, the learners and the culture where learning takes place.
-- Write design documents, storyboards, scripts, assessments and other learning documents.
-- Conduct assessments. Analyze feedback with the client and adjust learning solutions to make them more effective.
-- Bring innovation and fresh thinking to each and every project. It's your role to make sure our learning recommendations are fine tuned to engage learners and meet our clients' business needs.
-- Be a team player: communicate, collaborate, solve problems and complete projects on time and within budget.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
-- Three or more years work experience as an Instructional Designer
-- Solid understanding of instructional design methodologies and current learning trends
-- Demonstrated record of designing, writing and developing a variety of learning experiences
-- Strong marketing writing skills
-- Copy editing experience desired
-- Experience collaborating with Designers and Developers
-- Knowledge of visual thinking a plus
-- Enjoy working with a team in a fast-paced, creative environment
