Instrument Assembler Technician Ikonisys
Job Summary: The Assembler is responsible for the assembly, inspection and test of Ikoniscope instruments in accordance with the quality goals, cost targets and the production schedule.
Job Functions and Responsibilities
Will assemble instruments in a timely manner to meet the Production Plan and Sales Forecast
Maintain metrics to measure against quality
Delivery and cost targets, and develop and follow instrument manufacturing policies and procedures in support of ISO/GMP compliance requirements
Work effectively with R&D to transfer products into Manufacturing and with Purchasing and vendors/sub contractors to support procurement of high-quality materials in a timely manner.
Other Responsibilities
The Assembler may be required to supervise and train new assembly/test technicians and assist with training of Field Service personnel.
Education and Experience
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a regulated equipment manufacturing environment - preferable in the biomedical industry.
Education: High School Graduate
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge: This position requires solid computer skills using ERP systems (Macola, QAD, etc) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project and Powerpoint), as well as knowledge of manufacturing tools and equipment.
Skills: The Assembler positions reqiures demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills, an ability to understand manufacturing documentation including drawings, bills of materials, etc. This individual must have the ability to function in an aggressive, high-energy environment, demonstrate excellent mechanical skills and manual dexterity with a concern for quality and attention to detail, and hav ea good understanding of FDA/GMP compliance requirements.
