The ideal candidate has the ability to work in high pressure situations, can manage multiple projects gracefully, has a thorough grasp of the Amalga product area (Data Ingestion, Application, Databases, Server Systems).
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Technical
Solve Complex Technical problems related to Amalga Product implementations
Effectively work across multiple teams including Implementation, Support, Engineering, Hosting etc. to resolve potentially ambiguous cross functional issues (e.g., Application and Database related)
Analyze and identify root cause(s) of reported problems rather than just symptoms
Come up with creative suggested solutions for the problems root caused above (e.g., Performance Analysis scripts / tools / methodology)
Provide quick technical guidance to Top tier Amalga customers
Define and evangelize the operational and maintenance best practices for Amalga
Expertise in Amalga Data Ingestion + Application configuration
General
Articulate in a crisp and clear way with internal and external teams and stakeholders
Set correct expectations with Customer and internal teams about timelines and problems to be fixed
Close feedback loop with the appropriate teams (Engineering, Services), such that Product/Implementation issues don't re-surface
Present and provide periodic analysis, reporting and recommendation to Engineering LT and Services LT and higher
Work with appropriate team to operationalize an Amalga maintenance offering
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have the following knowledge, qualifications and experience:
Technical
Worked on at least two UIS implementations from Planning to Go-Live in a technical capacity
At least 4 years of experience in one of the following fields is required - EDI, interfaces, healthcare information systems development, clinical data management, Application or Product Development, SQL Databases
Working knowledge of SQL database structures and queries required
(1-2 years' experience preferred)
Programming experience with C#, VB.NET languages or equivalent required
Expertise in Amalga Data Ingestion + Application configuration
General
Experience working in a direct Customer interaction role is required. Any experience working directly in a Customer Maintenance/Support role is a plus
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high intensity start up environment
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences is required
Excellence in Collaboration skills is required
Ability to have Crucial conversations with various stakeholders (including Customers) is required
Demonstrated experience working on complex problems is required

30% travel, may include international
