The Integration Consultant reports to the Manager, Business Analytics Consulting and is responsible for the integration of data, documents, and/or custom application integration into all of the Streamline Health (STRM) business lines. They are also responsible for data management of Healthcare data, focusing on RCM and HIM data, from client extraction uploads; data transformation using STRM and third party tools; document import; integration between STRM and source systems and data and document load into the STRM system to achieve maximum client satisfaction. The Integration Consultant works with the project team to solve client business needs.
The Integration Consultant works with the client and STRM project teams to document the solution, develop and test the solution, and deliver to internal and external clients.
The Integration Consultant loads, analyzes and integrates the client data and/or documents, using proven implementation methodology.
Organizes, sorts, and filters data in order to distinguish patterns and recognize trends.
Validates that all functions perform according to the relevant specifications.
Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and issues.
Creates and collaborates to create custom integration solutions.
Conducts moderately complex analysis and solves moderately complex issues.
The Integration Consultant follows established team standards and templates to ensure consistency and supportability of solutions.
The Integration Consultant works with all team members to gain insight to the business need(s) and draws upon their skills and the subject matter experts to ensure the solution corresponds with the team focus and direction.
The Integration Consultant researches and draws upon the rest of the team, department, and company as needed to ensure the solution meets approvals as needed.
Bachelor of Science Degree and/or 5 years of demonstrable Healthcare data and document integration experience.
Knowledge and/or working experience of SQL Server and Oracle databases with a focus on T-SQL and SQL.
Working experience with hospital RCM and HIM systems is preferred.
Demonstrated interest in analytics and/or business intelligence.
Ability to develop, debug, and maintain complex dataflows, transformations, and cleansing required to transform and load incoming data and documents.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to educate internal and external clients on custom solutions.
Excellent relationship building, time management and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Ability to travel greater than 50%.
Air travel required as is ability to drive to client locations across the US and Canada.
