Integration Engineer Merced Systems

We are seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to deliver the technical aspects of product deployments for Merced Systems' customers. This is a technical consulting role which involves direct interaction with customers to understand their business data and to design and implement creative solutions to integrate the data with the Merced Performance Suite. Merced Integration Engineers also design and develop end-user functionality such as forms, workflows and reports for customer implementations. Responsibilities:
Implement custom deployments of the Merced product suite for clients
Integrate Merced's applications with other enterprise systems and data sources using ETL, XML, and scripting languages
Work closely with customer and Merced Client Services team on all technical aspects of a Merced deployment, including but not limited to ? data mapping, form and workflow design and implementation, report design and implementation.
Work with other Merced Integration Engineers to share best practices and knowledge
Provide input to Merced?s Product Management group on how to enhance future products
Required Skills/Experience:
Excellent technical and analytical skills
In-depth knowledge of data handling and SQL
Integration experience with enterprise software
Excellent organizational skills, ability to set own task lists and time lines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team
Demonstrated interest and ability to communicate across technology and business boundaries
Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent)
Willingness to travel up to 50%

Valuable skills:
Linux, Windows 2000/3
XML, Java, JSP, HTML, Perl
Oracle, SQL Server, DB2
Experience as a DBA, System Administrator, or Network Administrator
Experience implementing and managing data warehouses
Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Business Objects, Cognos, SAS)
Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g. Informatica, Brio)
