Kiva is seeking a highly talented and motivated Integration Program Manager. The Integration Program Manager is responsible for the overall management of new fulfillment center software integrations or migrations of existing clients. This position plans, manages and meets the commitments for: the creation/configuration of the virtual test environment, the integration test plan, the configuration of the production system, production integration testing, go-live engineering support and the transition to our support team. This position is also responsible for software integration: resource coordination, communication and risk management. To ensure smooth execution and successful completion, the Integration Program Manager will serve as liaison to: Kiva Professional Services, Product Management, Software, Hardware, Quality Assurance and the client's deployment team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as an Integration Engineer, Configuration Engineer, Technical Program Manager or similar field. This experience may be utilized as you lead the 1-3 engineers assigned to the project or as an independent contributor to aid the team. The job also requires travel, up to 35% of overall time, to locations across the US and a growing number of international sites.
The Integration Program Manager will be responsible for:
Overall accountability for multiple new client deployment integrations and existing client expansion or migration projects including but not limited to: the creation/configuration of the virtual test environment, the integration test plan, the configuration of the production system, production integration testing, go-live engineering support and the transition to our support team
Working with the customers' integration team and representing their software and integration needs to Kiva's various departments
Comprehensive issue tracking, including coordination of all inbound needs prior to site go live
Escalation coordination between Kiva and customer's integration team, triaging to product management, configuration or development teams within Kiva
Pre-go-live issue prioritization for our development and product management team to resolve
Pre-go-live coordination and tracking of software upgrades, including required operational documentation and knowledge transfer to the deployment team
Response to deployment team change requests such as enhancements or reconfiguration
Hands on technical contribution to the deployment tasks to supplement the team
Participating in efforts to improve and/or standardize integration procedures and processes
Further defining the scope and responsibilities of the Integration Program Manager role over time based on the evolving needs of Kiva and its customers
The Ideal candidates will have the following skills:
Technical skills including familiarity with Linux, Java, XML, SQL, bash, python, networking and database administration (MySQL, Oracle,etc)
Familiarity with distribution or fulfillment center operations, software/firmware development and database administration preferred
Cursory knowledge of networking and network topologies, such as routers, switches, and firewalls
A proven track record for successfully planning, delivering and tracking detailed technical programs
Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate cross functional efforts toward a common goal, including the ability to effectively communicate program expectations and status across stakeholders and upward to senior management
Excellent verbal and written communications skills partnered with proven analytical and technical skills
Creative and innovative problem solving skills
Comfort with detailed and complicated technology including software, hardware, robotics, etc.
Comfort working in environments like warehouses or construction sites
Comfort working as both part of a high-performing team and as an entirely independent performer
Self-starter, capable of working independently or in a team building strong cross functional relationships
Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Project The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
BA / BS - Engineering or Business degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years experience in project or program management role
Previous experience as an Integration Engineer, Configuration Engineer, Technical Program Manager or similar field
Experience working on software development, integration or configuration programs
Experience with OmniPlan or MS Project
PMP Certification desirable
