Description: Primary liaison between implementation team, client and corporate office in supporting system integration of new sites. Interacts with various levels of personnel including General Managers, Site Managers and client. Creates project management plan to help manage and support implementation process through completion.
Overall Responsibilities:
Travels to new sites to complete site survey analysis to determine integration needs.
Meets with clients, operations and technology personnel to determine and define specific analytical and technical systems information requirements.
Defines both current and future needs and coordinates the build of integration solutions.
Communicate specifications clearly and intelligibly in verbal and written form for a programmer, analyst, or implementation partner to understand the problem and expected outcome.
Prepares project scope documents, project plans and schedules, issues and risks log, RFPs, requirements specifications for the implementation of a new system or interface.
Identifies appropriate resources required to achieve goal.
Assists in preparing budget related to the project implementation.
Identifies, monitors and manages project risks from organizational and technical stance.
Responsible for managing project plans for assigned system or interface implementation.
Ensures regulatory and safety standards are fully incorporated into interface designs.
Incorporates feedback from Implementation Team into project management plan.
Leads interface related project-planning activities.
Creates and maintains project plans, issue logs, etc. in accordance with defined standards.
Develops data models and schema that describe processes and data flows related to systems high in complexity and data flow relationships between integrated systems.
Coordinates project team initiatives, participates in weekly calls, and delivers regular updates to client.
Makes recommendations for improvement of operations or processes.
Identifies and finds resolution to interface issues between systems of two different vendors.
Identifies opportunities and threats and provides associated recommendations to program director.
Develops data translation routines and methods utilizing standard languages, querying and database tools.
Develops written documentation supporting system integration and replacements.
Job Qualifications:
BS or BA Degree in Business or Engineering Sciences
4+ years of project management and/or systems integration experience
Demonstrated project management experience
Demonstrated ability to lead and to work independently
Certification in project management preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Superior Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Excel skills
Ability to travel up to 40%
