Azimuth Systems (www.azimuthsystems.com), a leader in wireless test and channel emulation for the LTE, Cellular, WiMAX and Wi-Fi markets, has an immediate opening for a smart, inquisitive and energetic person to join our team as an Integration Test Engineer for our Channel Emulation product line.Ideally, you will have a MSEE degree, though we will consider exceptional candidates with a BSEE or BSCS. You should also have a hands-on working knowledge of both software development (including scripting) and lab environments, preferably through industry experience as an employee or as a co-op. Once at Azimuth Systems, you will be part of a talented and dedicated team of engineers who work hand-in-hand with DSP, embedded software, digital and RF hardware developers in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Job Duties
- Work with other engineers to prototype and validate new, cutting edge hardware and software solutions
- Develop test plans, test cases, test environments, scripts and result summaries for multiple concurrent projects
- Perform testing and analyze results with an eye toward usability and quality
- Collaborate with developers to improve capabilities and diagnose problems
- Utilize RF test equipment such as a Signal Analyzers, Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, and Network Analyzers as part of hardware design qualification and functional testing of software features
- Design and develop custom automated test scripts to perform stress, load and performance tests
- Work closely with field engineers world-wide to collaboratively address customer specific applications and resolve customer problems
Requirements
- MSEE preferred; BSEE or BSCS required
- Solid understanding of Digital Communication Systems (RF, Modulation, digital signal processing, etc.) through academics or industry experience
- Excellent software coding skills; knowledge of Tcl or similar scripting language preferred
- Experience in testing and/or design of embedded systems-based products
- At least 1 to 5 years of experience
