Interaction Designer RunKeeper

Do you live, eat, and breathe user experience and web/mobile design? Can't help but analyze every social nuance and hook that sites use to make their experience intuitive and engaging? Do you use data, user feedback, and collaborative input to drive product designs? We are looking for an Interaction Designer that is responsible for all user interaction with the RunKeeper product, including how it is perceived, learned, and used. You will work with product managers, engineers, marketing, technical support, and the rest of the RunKeeper team to oversee the user experience and the design of a product from conception until launch.Responsibilities:
Build efficient and reusable front-end Web & mobile mockups
Leverage insight and direction from analyst and UI researchers
Build UIs that meet requirements created from Product Managers
Work across different areas of the team to craft a user experience that complements product innovation
Identify and communicate best practices for front-end engineering
Participate in design & product reviews
Partner with PMs, engineers, marketing, technical support, and the rest of the RunKeeper team to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch...and then some.
Requirements:
Strong portfolio featuring examples of interaction design work
Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and vision
Capacity to communicate vision for design and implementation
Unmistakable passion for elegant and intuitive user interfaces
Understanding of how design translates to code
Experience in social consumer web / mobile websites / apps
