The Interactive Marketing Manager, Global Programs has two primary responsibilities including planning, purchasing and optimizing online marketing campaigns including social media, and leading Virtustream?s external email campaign operation and production. In addition to a high level of business experience and acumen, the manager must have a deep knowledge of Interactive marketing technologies and methodologies including email campaigns, search engine marketing, display advertising, social media and the evolving and Interactive communications landscape.
The Interactive Marketing Manager, Global Programs will work closely with Corporate Marketing to develop strategies for effective, integrated cross-organization online marketing initiatives which lead prospects to engage with Virtustream and result in yield high quality leads for the sales team. This individual must possess a strong record of successful email operations management, media agency management, successful online campaigns. Must also be able to monitor, track, analyze and report on efficiency of online campaigns demand generation programs.
The ideal candidate has experience marketing with leading technologies such as cloud computing to the enterprise level technical and business decision makers, and channel partners.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leading and managing the ongoing development of the Interactive Marketing programs including email, search engine marketing, display advertising, social media and the evolving and Interactive communications landscape
Ensuring that the Global Programs team delivers top quality Interactive marketing campaigns that meet or exceed demand generation goals, and are flawlessly executed.
Developing comprehensive strategy for and overseeing aggressive growth targets for all online and social media channels, including the corporate site, blog, customer-facing platforms, Facebook and LinkedIn pages, Twitter
Plan, execute and maintain ongoing drip marketing programs via third party automation tools.
Establishing a culture which embraces ongoing testing of technology, tools, formats, media channels, and approaches to messaging in order to continually improve performance.
Driving ongoing process improvements, creating automated and optimized solutions and reporting where possible.
Producing and tracking all activities through third party automation tool Pardot.
Managing all online ad programs including Google Adwords, Display and Retargeting Ads.
Developing in-depth business reporting and comprehensive competitive advertising/marketing analysis.
Participating in the presentation of media and campaign plans, and ensuring that program strategic and tactical goals are being met.
Reports to the Senior Marketing Director, Global Programs.
QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE - SKILLS:
BA degree required; marketing or related field preferred. Graduate degree a plus.
Minimum of 5 ? 7 years in marketing, specifically interactive/digital programs. Must possess a solid Interactive background, management of online marketing agencies, and experience managing large-scale email operations.
Must have demonstrated success executing targeted email campaigns, Google Adwords and retargeting ads.
Proven ability to produce and deploy innovative programs that generate high quality leads.
RELATED SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with successful experience in the online marketplace.
Exceptional strategic online advertising and planning skills.
Strong knowledge of best practices in B2B lead generation across the full range of Interactive marketing channels, including content marketing, affiliate partnerships, email, social media, virtual events, banner and pay-for-performance ads, SEO and SEM, and mobile.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated track record of driving results in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.
Motivated self-starter who can turn ideas into action.
Strong teamwork, team development, collaboration, and relationship management skills.
