The purpose of the Interactive Marketing Manager role is to lead the use of multimedia, web, and social networks to influence health plan leaders, employers, consultants, doctors and patients.
Accountabilities and Activities:
• Vendor collaboration: The Interactive Marketing Manger will work with creative agencies to develop interactive marketing initiatives at Health Dialog.
• Company website: Including evolving the sites' content and layout as needed; reporting regularly on site traffic and activity; and developing promotions to drive traffic and generate leads, as appropriate.
• Web and email-based promotions: The Interactive Marketing Manager will work with an agency to develop web-based promotions and email communications with clients and prospects.
• Video production: Act as the point person for the agency developing that produces videos depicting Health Dialog's services in action; and for ensuring legal compliance with HIPAA as part of that process.
• Technology demos: Works with Health Dialog's technology teams and agencies to ensure that logical stories can be told about our technology capabilities and their meaning for individuals.
• Web branding standards: Act as the keeper of Health Dialog standards for website interfaces and will work with teams across the company developing web-based applications to ensure that the look, feel, and branding are consistently applied.
• Social networks: Working with the communications team and a public relations agency, the Interactive Marketing Manager will participate in, observe, and reflect upon social media in healthcare on behalf of Health Dialog, both for healthcare policy and business topics as well as patient networks, and will support physicians that participate in physician networks.
Qualifications, Training and Experience:
• 5-7+ years experience with interactive marketing techniques gained in an agency or corporate setting, including direct experience of at least two website development projects.
• Hands-on understanding of web-based measurement tools, internet advertising results reporting, and direct response reporting.
• A track record of positive and productive agency relationships, gained on either side of the partnership.
• Demonstrated personal and professional engagement with social networks.
• Demonstrated ability to set and deliver to a budget.
• Strong interpersonal communications skills and informal team leadership in cross-functional and/or cross-organizational settings.
Judgement Skills:
The Interactive Marketing Manager must collaborate with the Sales, Client Management, Outreach and Product Development departments in the design and implementation of all multimedia based applications that would directly affect Health Dialog products and services. Decision making will be based on research, input from agencies and customer demand.
Freedom of Action:
The Interactive Marketing Manager will work closely with the Senior Director of Marketing, and will lead the use of multimedia, web, and social networks to deliver Health Dialog's products and services. The Manager will drive all efforts surrounding said activities.
Dimensions:
The Interactive Marketing Manager is responsible for the marketing initiatives regarding the use of web, interactive and social media. Input on budgets will be required and approved by the Senior Director of Marketing and finally by the Senior Vice President of Marketing.
Environment:
• 15-20% travel to other Health Dialog office locations and also to client sites
• Responsible for understanding and complying with all company policies that are applicable to their job function and participate in mandatory training in a timely manner
