HRIS/Payroll Manager Job Description
TOA Technologies is currently searching for an HRIS/Payroll Manager to be responsible for the global strategy, implementation and oversight of TOA?s new global HRIS System, and ensure seamless integration with other business systems. This position will also manage the monthly payroll process for over 200 employees in 3 different countries.
Help to finalize the implementation and integration of our new global HRIS. This would include working closely with disparate departments to ensure seamless integration with other HR business solutions, including Talent Acquisition (ATS), Learning & Development (LMS), and Financial Reporting systems.
Serve as key HRIS contact in the maintenance of employee records and system enhancements.
Assume the maintenance of the companywide monthly payroll for 200 employees to include processing, reporting, reconciliation, PTO accruals, garnishments, bonuses, commissions and other company pay policies timely and accurately.
Process payroll from start to finish including earnings adjustments & special deductions, transmit electronic files using our payroll vendor's software, and implement internal controls for accuracy.
Assist with employee orientation, new hire paperwork, development, and training.
Manage workers compensation, unemployment, and other claims.
Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, terminations, transfers, current and historical headcount and turnover.
Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization's personnel policies and practices.
Support and embody the organizations' values, goals and operating principles.
Employ discretion and sensitivity with confidential information.
Work under the guidance of the Director, Human Resources.
BS or BA degree in human resources management, business or related field.
4 ? 7 years experience with payroll, benefits and general HR administration is required.
4 ? 7 years experience with HRIS, preferably NuView or other global system.
Creative self-starter and problem solver with tolerance for ambiguity.
Strong general knowledge of payroll regulations processes and practices.
Experience working with group benefit plans (health/dental/life insurance, 401(k), etc.)
Hands-on payroll processing experience required. Previous work with Paytime a plus.
Working knowledge of HR procedures, processes, practices and wage/hour laws.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Applications, HR/Payroll systems and Time/Attendance systems.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and sound judgment.
Must be highly organized, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively and independently with a positive attitude.
Must be able to develop and maintain positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
May require some travel.
