This is a summer internship position to work with Freescale?s Automotive MCU talented engineers working on the field of IC testing.
Selected Intern will participate in an engineering team that develops test programs for automated test equipment (ATE) and/or develops new test processes using scripting software and data base management tools.
In this position you will be working closely with product, test and verification engineers to create, test and evaluate the functionality and performance of SOCs.
Working under the direct supervision of a team lead or mentor your responsibilities may include:
- Developing automated test scripts and configurations;
- Executing tests and evaluating test results;
- Working with product engineering teams to resolve test findings.
Individual must be at a Junior, Senior or graduate level in an Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Minimal work experience required, however a familiarity with engineering methodologies, terminology and tools is helpful.
The successful candidate must have a strong foundation in C/C++, Perl; candidates with limited knowledge of these skills need not apply.
EDA, HTML5 and SQL knowledge is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
