Adchemy, Inc. is seeking interns to join our Engineering team on using cutting-edge technology to develop solutions to solve internet-scale problems. Specifically we are seeking interns to support projects designed to develop and enhance our innovative IntentMap technology. As an intern, you will be responsible for a specific project and will work closely with senior members of the Engineering, Product Management and Client Services team.The projects include:
? Application development supporting natural language algorithms, analytical modeling, reporting and web interfaces.
? Use of sophisticated analytical methods to automate existing processes and enable new capabilities.
? Enhancing applications on big-data applications.
? System architecture and application tuning for cloud based computing.
? Supporting the Engineering team in delivering solutions introduction.
Successful candidates will have many of the following background/experience:
? Experience in object-oriented programming (J2EE, Java), web based development (HTML5, CSS, Ruby) and scripting languages (Perl/Python).
? Strong communication and collaboration skills.
? A self starter with natural curiosity towards problem solving a strong attitude towards learning.
The internship will provide an excellent opportunity to explore state-of-the-art big-data web applications in a real-world setting with a very immediate business impact, as well as the opportunity to experience life at a fast-paced company centered within the online advertising space. The position is likely most suitable for a student in a field such as Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related, who is seeking industry experience prior to graduation.
