The Engineering Intern will participate as a valuable member of the engineering team at Peregrine Semiconductor, Inc by working directly with the engineering staff in assisting in the development and definition of new software automation routines and support of existing software libraries.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Participate as a multidisciplinary engineering team member
Assist software Development Engineers by participating with software requirements directly related with new product introduction.
Documentation of software algorithms, practices, methods.
Knowledge, Skill and Competency Requirements
Strong written and oral communication skills
Familiarity with basic software development processes, including: planning, implementation, deployment and maintenance
Programming experience in C, C++
The following traits are highly valued:
Knowledge of software development models including: Waterfall model, Spiral model, Iterative and Incremental development, code and fix
Proficiency in modern desktop office software applications
JMP script language
Education and Experience:
Actively enrolled in a technical field of study such as engineering, computer science, math, or physics
