DescriptionThis position is responsible for:
Characterization and design of RF ICs in Peregrine?s UltraCMOS technology for commercial and industrial applications. Product lines include high performance RF switches, power amplifiers, mixers and PLLs. The candidate will support products during the entire product life cycle from product definition through product release to end-of-life. As part of a cross-functional product development team the candidate will support other essential disciplines including applications, production and test engineering.
Roles & Responsibilities will include:
Product Characterization: Define, measure, analyze and document data of product performance.
Product Design Support: Schematic Capture, Simulation, Design Validation.
Production ATE Support: Work with Test Engineers to define, develop and ramp production ATE solutions.
Experience, Skills and Education Required
BSEE and 2+ years or MSEE or PhD candidate. RF/analog IC product characterization and RF measurement techniques with strong technical skills are required. Experience in the following is valuable:
Hands on use of RF measurement equipment to validate performance of CMOS RF ICs
RF measurements ? NF, IP3, IP2, matching using smith charts, time domain measurements etc.
Knowledge of analog and RF IC Design.
Familiarity with analog & RF IC layout techniques
Strength in documentation clarity and completeness
Ability to assess and manage risk
Team player with a strong sense of urgency to meet product requirements on schedule.
Software tools: Matlab, JMP, Datapower, National Instruments CVI, Cadence, ADS
