Job Description:
This position is responsible for assisting in the development of RF products as they advance into production. The candidate will take on various responsibilities that will include running experiments, performing characterizations and analyzing test data. They will work with experienced designers to address the challenges of developing industry leading products. The candidate will interface with other disciplines such as test, technology, marketing, and reliability engineering to analyze and resolve issues as they relate to the production release of a product. The assigned projects will be diverse in nature, requiring initiative and good communication skills.
Roles & Responsibilities will include:
Product Evaluation and Characterization: Work to define, conduct and analyze data to characterize product performance
Product Documentation: Document all relevant product and design information to educate others on novel design techniques and provide guidance on product usage.
Product Support: Work with Applications, Product, Test and Manufacturing Engineers to help answer questions, and get take data to answers technical question, support yield improvements, product qualifications, etc.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor or graduate program in a technical field
Strength in documentation clarity and completeness
The following traits are highly valued:
Full-time intern or Co-Op experience
Knowledge of CMOS IC design for commercial applications - bulk and/or SOI processes
Knowledge and hands on use of RF and common electrical engineering measurement equipment
Knowledge of RF IC applications ? switches, amplifiers, mixers, PLLs, etc
Experience with any of the following: Cadence, ADS, HFSS, Momentum, Matlab, JMP, MS Project, Datapower, National Instruments CVI/LabView
