This particular paid part-time internship opportunity at Domo is for Computer Science or Information Systems students. This internship position will provide a technical student the opportunity to help document and develop training for various internal technical positions. This Internship is intended for students located in Utah. No previous experience required. Attention to details and both an enjoyment of and a proficiency in technical writing are essential.
This paid internship offers $20/hour with flexible hours. Must have schedule availability of at least 20 or more hours weekly during business hours of 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
Qualifications & Skills:
Excellent problem solving skills. Must have the ability to work independently to solve technical issues with little supervision.
Intermediate SQL skills. Experience with a DBMS such as MS SQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
Intermediate programming skills. Proficiency with at least one programming language such as Java, C#.NET, JavaScript, or Ruby on Rails.
Experience with Unix based systems, such as Ubuntu or Mac OS X.
Business and communication skills sufficient to work in a professional environment.
Ability to:
Learn and document technical procedures independently and accurately.
Learn new software packages and systems thoroughly and efficiently.
Partner with other functional areas to accomplish objectives.
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Education Requirements:
Undergrad with junior or senior standing. Graduate level candidates preferred.
Major in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Strong academic performance with at least a 3.2 GPA
