The UCE Intern will work with a team of Unified Communications Engineers (UCEs) to install and configure Cisco Unified Communications (UC) products. The intern will learn Cisco-specific technology as well as general IP Telephony concepts.
This position requires a conscientious self-starter eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic, growing team.
? Responsible for software and hardware installs of customer equipment under the guidance of UCEs
? Responsible for following and maintaining existing process documentation for installation and audits of installations
? Responsible for testing of component installs prior to shipping to customer
? Responsible for testing procedures in internal labs and documenting results

? Excellent analytical skills
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Good human relation skills
? Ability to work effectively by themselves or as part of a team
? Self-starter; eager and able to learn new technical skills rapidly
? Basic knowledge in the following technologies helpful
o Microsoft Active Directory
o Microsoft operating systems such as Win 2k, XP, 7, 2K3, 2k8.
o SQL Database
? Helpdesk/IT background useful
? Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
? Cisco Academy or related Cisco training
