International Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist Overture Networks

Description:Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, this position is responsible for: a) The direction of Imports and Exports for all Overture shipments internationally, b) Maintaining compliance with Customs and Border Protection, managing the performance and relationships of agencies, carriers, forwarders/brokers, and 3PL providers, c) Enhancing customer satisfaction and d) Reducing and optimizing overall logistics costs.
Duties:? Manage all import and export operations across multiple locations
? Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations affecting international logistics.
?Develop procedures and methods to expedite clearance of import shipments and delivery to the customers.
?Directly manage the relationships and ensure the cost effective performance of all international logistical services (brokers/forwarders/carriers/agencies and providers).
?Manage ongoing programs supporting cost saving opportunities for import and export activities, including duty reduction programs, special trade programs, duty drawback, FTZ's, etc.
?Develop and maintain process procedures to identify international orders for export and prepare appropriate documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, etc.)
?Develop and maintain procedures to review documents and invoices from service providers for regulatory compliance and billing accuracy.
?Continuously review processes, performance measures and technology to identify efficiency opportunities and optimize operations.
?Develop and maintain effective KPI measurable indicators for all aspects of international logistics and import/export operations.
?Monitor industry conditions with a focus on potential threats and impacts to international logistical services.
?Assist with the development and maintenance of documented controls (policies, procedures, processes, and work instructions) for both Import and Export.
Qualifications:?Ideally five (5) years of experience in a global supply chain role with a focus on logistics and import/export compliance.
?Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Operations Management, Finance, Supply Chain or related discipline.
?Customs Technical knowledge (U.S. Customs Brokerage license a plus)
?Process improvement skills, particularly automation of processes using standard office software
?Excellent intrapersonal/communication skills and ability to effectively manage internal and external business partners.
?Strong financial and business acumen.
?Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus.
