Reports to: Senior Director of Merchant Accounts (SDMA)
This position monitors and supervises all International Merchant Account Processing Sales Representatives to achieve strategic corporate International MAP sales initiatives that support the overall performance objectives for the International MAP Sales team at MINDBODY. This position is expected to remain constantly in tune with the international market place as relates to merchant account product offerings. Personally sell a minimum of at least 10% of the total International MAP Sales each month. Provide MAP Software Demo?s regularly to contribute towards International MAP Sales, vendor & Staff training. This role is also responsible for recommending the latest technology and most appropriate partnerships in the international MAP arena to introducing merchant account processing to countries where it is not yet offered, knowing which countries to offer it to next and why, gain buy-in from the executive team and facilitating new product offering to the market place from start to end. Data collection and analysis of reports is required on a regular basis.
Screen, interview, and hire new International MAP Sales Specialists and other team members.
Develop and maintain a robust International MAP Sales Training process that is approved by the
Senior Director of Merchant Accounts (SDMA), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO).
Utilize Salesforce to maintain a highly effective sales funnel and provide robust reporting.
Train International MAP Sales Specialists in standard sales process.
Mentor and coach Merchant Account Sales Specialists to maximize each individual potential and incorporate top notch sales strategies.
Set performance expectations for each individual International MAP Sales Specialist and team in coordination with SDMA, CFO and CSMO.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with MINDBODYs management team to ensure positive and continued cross-departmental communication.
Recommend the latest technology in the international merchant accounts field and have a plan to introduce merchant account processing to countries in which it is not yet offered, gaining buy-in from the executive team and facilitating new product offering to the market place from start to end.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
2 Years Management experience.
3 Years Sales Experience.
Bachelor?s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience in sales and staff management.
3-5 years? of experience in technology sales preferably in the Software-as-a-Service market place. (Experience with Merchant Account Sales preferred but is not required.)
Excellent Communication & Presentation Skill and ability to communicate at the executive level.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher) to support internal documentation, and creation of sales presentation material to aid the presales phase.
Understanding of Database Management Systems, Data Structures, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Demonstrated career stability and overachievement in previous job posts.
GENERAL DUTIES AND MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the SDMA and CFO on setting individual goals for International MAP Sales Specialists.
Conduct performance reviews, weekly team meetings and regular one-on-one meetings with International MAP Sales Specialists.
Work with other mid-level management to maintain constant communications between departments.
Inspire International MAP Sales Specialists to achieve strategic corporate International MAP Sales initiatives that support the overall performance objectives for the MAP Sales team at MINDBODY.
Coordinate the management and distribution of leads.
Conduct first round of interviews via a phone screen to validate if the candidate is eligible for an interview with SDMA.
Conduct second round interviews with the SDMA and be an integral part of the decision making process on hiring.
Educate International MAP Sales Specialists on the sales process from fact finding to solution selling and asking for the sale.
Recommend the latest technology in the field of MAP and assist the SDMA in planning the introduction of merchant account processing to countries in which it is not yet offered.
Assist the SDMA in gaining buy-in from the executive team for new MAP functionality within countries where MAP is already offered as well as introduce to new countries.
Assist the SDMA in executing new and renewed International Merchant Account processing agreements to include revenue shares pricing.
Work with the Product Development Team as needed in facilitating new product offerings to the market place from start to end.
MINIMUM ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
Intimate working knowledge of lead generation, prospecting and sales processes.
Strong track record of personal sales performance.
Leadership abilities--to inspire, educate and inform sales specialists continuously.
Outstanding communication skills.
Ability to function in a high stress environment, under substantial pressure to meet sales goals as set by SDMA or the executive team.
Sophisticated business sense and deal-making abilities.

Intimately know the executed contracts for all merchant account connected processors to include 1) when they expire 2) cost and revenue structure
Ability to price merchant account fees on merchant applications so as to optimize revenue and maintain a competitive place in the market.
Ability to work on a computer as a primary tool for long periods of time.
Ability to talk on phone with potential and existing customers for long periods of time.
Ability to travel nationally and internationally when needed.
SCOPE OF SUPERVISION/AUTHORITY:
As the International Merchant Account Sales Manager you will be the first level of management for the International Merchant Account Sales Specialist Team. You are responsible for mentoring and motivating this level of staff while enforcing MINDBODY employment policies.
