We are hiring an outstanding individual to join our team as an International Sales Manager!
The International Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth internationally for Scantron Corporation. This individual will lead an existing network of accounts in assigned territories around the world, growing our distribution channel by geographical expansion and development of our existing sales network. The sales manager will monitor performance of our channel of distribution, driving strategic initiatives to achieve and improve sales goals.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
Develops implements and analyze international business strategies to maximize sales growth and profitability in assigned territories.
Fosters and maintains strong relationships with distributors, customers and high-level influencers in government type institutions.
Maintains updated market knowledge about the international territories assigned, understanding competition, market trends and key players.
Creates and conducts effective sales presentations, sales proposals, product training and commercial (sales) training for distributors, end-users and potential customers.
Implements plans to increase adoption of our technology in assigned territories, launching new products and promotions
Becomes extremely knowledgeable about our solutions, offering advice and consulting to our distributors and customers
Coordinates all the service and training needs of our channel with our technical support group.
Works with Product Development and Marketing to advocate and foster awareness of the different international requirements.
Collaborates with internal constituents, such as finance for sales forecasting, accounting for outstanding balances and legal for sales contracts.
Monitors and coordinates with Supply Chain group for international shipping logistics.
Uses Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track and monitor opportunities.
Education & Knowledge Required
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience
4+ years prior sales experience.
2+ years international sales experience
Experience in the Education sector HIGHLY desired
Bilingual a PLUS
Experience / Skills / Abilities Required
Outstanding interpersonal skills, being able to effectively connect with people at all levels both internally and externally.
Superior communication and presentation skills, with a natural ability to engage an audience.
Technologically savvy, comfortable with all Windows Office products (Power Point, Excel, Outlook and Word mainly). Capable of learning about new technologies and doing product demonstrations.
Interested in working with different cultures and negotiation styles. Respecting others with different cultures, religions and traditions.
Ability to multitask and manage different projects and accounts in a fast-paced environment.
High level of accountability.
Self-starter with an innate ability to work independently.
Customer service oriented.
Ability to travel at least 40% .
Passport, Visas and travel documents in order.
