International Sales Trainer and Clinical Applications Specialist Optovue

This U.S. based role reports to the Vice President of International Sales. The International Trainer and Clinical Applications Specialist travels and conducts training and Clinical Support world-wide including Asia Pacific, Latin America, and Europe/Middle East/Africa regions. Solid clinical background and familiarity with OCT are essential attributes as well as the ability to build good relationships with international distributors and customers. Familiarity with international variances in cultural and legal issues and second language skills are highly desirable.Responsibilities:
Travels internationally to develop and conduct training on Optovue products for worldwide distribution network.
Conducts product demonstrations for doctors and staff members at regional and international meetings, as well as supporting distributors on sales calls in offices, clinics, and hospitals
Trains distributors on installation and operation of products.
Educates staff and distributors on key product benefits and features.
Attends international industry meetings, conferences, and trade shows as required.
Attends company meetings and medical education programs as required.
Supports distributors and customers by acting as Optovue liaison for clinical and operational questions
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree (life sciences background preferred) or equivalent combination of experience and education.
3-5 years sales training experience; medical industry or highly relatable field
Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product-related information.
Formal international sales training a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise good business judgment and discretion in varied international settings.
Extensive travel and overnight stays are required in this position.
