DescriptionThe Marketing Analyst - SEO will be responsible for the successful implementation and growth of search engine optimization and link building campaigns. This position is best suited to people who thrive on problem solving, data analysis and being able to stay on task while juggling multiple projects at once. In addition, this position requires the ability to write effective content for the Web. The scope of this position primarily deals with search engine optimization as it applies to organic search on Google and other premier search engines.

Responsibilities
Managing link building campaigns by reaching out to site owners, bloggers and webmasters to cultivate meaningful relationships and ultimately obtaining a link
Editing copy for in house articles and other web content
Mining performance data by navigating search analytic tools and internal data
Researching competitors to identify additional linking opportunities
Creating actionable link strategies based off data analysis and competitive analysis
Keep up to date on current SEO strategies through continuing education and self study
Requirements
College degree
Active interest or knowledge in online marketing, search engine optimization, or digital media
High level understanding of Microsoft Excel
Customer service / sales / negotiating experience
Positive, persistent and "can-do" attitude
Must be a team player
Self motivated with the ability to carry out complex analysis with minimal guidance
Proven ability to write clearly
Strong logical thinking and problem solving skills
The ability to be motivated by achieving ever increasing key performance indicators
Strong track record of setting and achieving goals
Extremely well organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with an eye for detail
Desire to learn the technical specifics of how a high traffic website generates traffic via online marketing
Experience with MySQL a plus but not required
Basic HTML editing skills a plus but not required
Experience with SEO tools a plus but not required
