Part-Time Paid Internship: Product Development Team
Are you excited about wellness and helping thousands of people to achieve their fitness and nutritional goals? Are you interested in working daily with some of the best product designers, programmers, fitness experts, and nutrition experts in the global wellness industry today? Do you want an internship where you will work as part of a small, fast-paced team designing cutting-edge wellness products and technologies? If you answered yes to all of these questions, then keep reading.
Core Performance is looking for an energetic and well-rounded person for a paid, part-time internship with our Product Development team in our Hollywood office. As part of this team, you will:
Play an integral part in shaping a new product offering from the ground up
Work on a daily basis in a small team with leading industry experts in a start-up type environment
Learn the intricacies of Core Performance?s high- and low-tech product offerings, from sophisticated software and technology development to interpersonal relationships between coaches/ nutritionists and their clients
Experience first-hand the software product development lifecycle, from user stories and wireframing through development and testing, all the way to implementation of a pilot program
Utilize cutting-edge technologies to connect with our clients to help them reach their lifestyle goals
Duties & Responsibilities:
Along with training and general participation in day-to-day product development, the position will have specific responsibilities:
Managing outbound (email and SMS) and inbound (email and telephone) messaging with participants in a pilot program
Scheduling with pilot program participants
Supervised software QA testing (online and on fitness equipment)
Reporting on above activities, including providing insightful feedback to the rest of the team
Requirements:
All majors will be considered
Be very comfortable around computers. You don?t need to be a programming expert, but you do need to be very familiar with the Microsoft Office suite and comfortable learning new programs quickly. A deeper understanding of technology is definitely a bonus!
Outgoing and customer service oriented
Strong skills working both on a team and with minimal guidance
Be ready for a position of responsibility. This position has nothing to do with making coffee or filing paperwork!
