Suniva is seeking a recent Accounting graduate (0 to 3 years) from a top-tier University for the position of Inventory Analyst. The right candidate will be a detail-oriented, hands-on Inventory Analyst to assist with inventory and bill of material maintenance. This individual will report to the Inventory Manager and must possess a positive attitude and the desire to consistently hit deliverable deadlines and meet/exceed performance expectations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform a variety of regular and recurring accounting functions requiring professional competency
Perform regular physical inventory counts to verify accuracy of GL and to reconcile any variances
Maintain Bill of Materials, to include variance analysis of cost and usage, and to make recommendations of necessary updates to Bill of Material
Assist in creating Bill of Material for new products
Review of Freight invoices compared to incoming receipts and book monthly accruals as necessary
Assist Plant Manager and Inventory Manager with various analysis of plant production
Interact with various individuals outside of accounting dept on daily basis
Drive continuous improvement and standardization within the functional area, including update of accounting processes and procedures making best use of automation tools
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or FInance
3 year?s accounting experience
Relevant accounting experience in manufacturing environment working directly with inventory and bill of material
Oracle ERP or other ERP experience preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP accounting.
Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organized with a desire for continuous improvement and meeting deadlines.
Confident self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work with minimal direction in a fast paced environment
