Critical Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Hands on experience or equivalent knowledge including:
Fluent in Microsoft Office and SAP programs
Organized and detail oriented
Advanced analytical and data evaluating skills
Verbal and written command of the English language
Five years Logistics or Materials Management experience
Experience with shipping material to International destinations and/or dealing with Import/Export procedures including reclaiming VAT/GST preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with simple hand tools
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Manage material inventory levels at all of Globe?s warehouse/storage locations including third party firms
Establish stock/reorder levels for each location, track demand and adjust as demand for specific items changes
Identify new material requirements based on new product offerings, newly generated ECROs (Engineering Change Request Orders) and other functional department requirements
Ensure smooth implementation of new material requirements by developing new part numbers, populating Material Control?s master record and developing BOMs when required
Support material acquisition by providing purchasing with all necessary requirements in a timely manner, along with all pertinent ordering information, such as manufacturer?s specifications, part number, required quantities, and need by date
Maintain production planning, scheduling and issuing of work-orders for items requiring assembly and/or testing to ensure that stock levels of assembled goods are consistently maintained in order to meet demand with zero impact to operations
Manage existing stock levels by monitoring consumption data, performing weekly cycle counts, maintaining familiarity with all product lines, managing lead times, tracking vendors and taking into account near future forecasting data
Conduct periodic inventories of all stock locations, including third parties and installers, to maintain accuracy of inventory data and to take the necessary corrective actions required to prevent and remedy deficiencies within our inventory controls
Conduct an annual inventory count to guarantee our inventory management system is up to date and provide the Finance department with the information to reconcile any discrepancies discovered between the perpetual and physical counts

Education, Experience, and Job Knowledge
Bachelor?s degree required in related field
