JOB DESCRIPTIONSummary of Functions:
Due to continued growth we are seeking an Inventory Manager on 2nd shift at our facility in the Kansas City, MO metropolitan area.
Essential Functions:
Supervise Inventory Control department members ensuring company policies are enforced.
Maintain integrity of inventory records while following established procedures.
Analyze complex transaction histories in effort to reconcile discrepancies.
Communicate effectively with all levels of management as well as with customer representatives. Must have excellent written and verbal skills.
Provide leadership and training to accomplish company goals and objectives.
Coordinate activities for team members ensuring effective use of productive working hours.
Investigate all facets of facilities operation to troubleshoot processes and make recommended improvements.
Experience/Educational Requirements:
5 years experience in Inventory Control
Previous supervisory experience required.
Must be able to effectively multi-task. Ability to work under deadlines and have strong time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent computer skills, MS Excel a must, MS Access preferred.
Self-motivated, strong problem solver with excellent analytical and great math skills.
Attentive to detail.
Prefer college graduate.
