Job Title: Inventory Project Analyst
Responsibilities:
Supporting new client implementations including all support functions of generating electronic inventory builds in a standardized fashion based on business rules
The Inventory Specialist is also the key liaison between the Client Manager and the Operations to provide metrics and status on all new client builds in addition to owning the responsibility for quality control of all inventory items
Interface with Client Management and Projects regarding new client requirements, acts as resource for Inventory Analysts, works with Billing to ensure inventory accuracy, liaise with Provisioning on new orders and disconnect information
Communicate with Quality Assurance on improvement process/metrics
Manage the electronic build for all new Client implementations including reporting metrics on status to the Operations and Client Management
Key resource to train junior staff members on predefined protocols of building inventory in a standard fashion
Oversee the setup and maintenance of all client portals. This includes working with CM to establish access to portals as well as researching new portals and establishing access
Support Telebase and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all system inventory utilities
Establish Quality Control standards while performing constant checks on inventory to ensure quality control standards are met
Ability to multi task between projects and daily inventory functions while utilizing electronic controls (SQL, Excel, Access) to improve efficiencies of work
Work directly with Inventory Management to keep user documentation updated
Identify and correct data integrity issues related to inventory including but not limited to: TBD locations, misclassified services, missing costs etc.
Responsible for working on all Operational Help Desk tickets for Inventory Disconnects
Assess work load capacities and partner with the Inventory Manager to assign resources
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree or five years business experience in telecommunications
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of telecommunications and financial reporting
Knowledge of transaction based operations
Able to communicate well and demonstrate leadership skills
Knowledgeable in Excel, Word, Outlook and Access
Posses analytical skills to present solutions to problems, while demonstrating a level of independence
Ability to assess situations and present proactive solutions to problems
Teamwork oriented and strategically focused
Emphasis on customer service and quality
Adapt to an ever changing environment while being able to remain focused and not lose site of strategic goals
Possess a level of creativity offering suggestions to help build the business and make processes more efficient
