Gamgee is an early-stage start-up in the consumer mobile health space, located in the SF Bay Area (Peninsula) and funded by Khosla Ventures. Our founder has a successful startup track record in helping over a hundred thousand healthcare professionals apply technology to healthcare challenges. We're building a mobile app that's going to help improve people's health and introduce dramatic innovations to the healthcare system. Responsibilities:
-Architect, build and maintain the Gamgee iPhone App
-Create and continually innovate the app to help lots of people better understand their health
-Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot customer issues
-Proactive member on the team, collaborating on all fronts, from ideation to implementation
Requirements:
-BS or MS in CS and at least 2+ years experience working on iPhone and/or Android apps
-Strong understanding of Objective C, and Cocoa Touch
-Big believer in rapid prototyping, fast iteration, and data-driven development
-Hard-working and a fast learner
-An eye for great design and user experiences
-Strong interest in solving big, challenging problems and passion for the health space
-Track record of creating consumer mobile apps, with at least one live App in the App Store
